Construction
Footwear with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort product technology is specially designed for indoor and outdoor activities in warm temperatures. They are durably waterproof and highly breathable, providing a high level of weather protection. Water stays outside, while perspiration can escape unhindered. Thanks to their non-insulated construction, they are the ideal solution for those who value maximum climate comfort and optimum heat dissipation.
Laminate construction
The central element of these shoes is a thin three-layer GORE-TEX Extended Comfort laminate without insulation. It consists of a highly abrasion-resistant, quick-drying textile lining, the microporous GORE-TEX membrane made of ePTFE and a protective knitted fabric. Extended Comfort laminates are highly breathable and are known for their outstanding heat dissipation features. The Feets are permanently protected against the penetration of water, dubious liquids and sand, while sweat produced inside the shoe can escape to the outside even faster.
GORE-TEX® material technology
The climate membrane is an extremely thin layer of stretched polytetrafluoroethylene (1.4 billion pores per square centimetre). The pores give the GORE-TEX material its special features. Waterproof: Products can withstand high water pressure, which can occur in extreme weather conditions and in challenging applications. Windproof: This feature provides a comfortable feeling, as the garment does not let wind through and thus maintains your microclimate. Breathable: The material does not allow water vapour molecules to escape to the outside, thus helping to reduce overheating and moisture build-up inside the garment.
